Well, since i haven't posted in about 10 days now, I decided i'd take a few minutes break to let you know what's been going on in our lives. Don't get the impression that it is terribly exciting stuff. We don't live exciting lives anymore. No more Celebrities, no more late night transmitter runs, no more fun broadcasting or college pranks. Mostly we run the rut... we work, we eat, we sleep. Lately though, we have been having a little more interesting stuff going on.

First, I have to take back what I said about nothing being exciting. Our church is growing by leaps and bounds. We have made a contingency offer on a building, that offer has been accepted and we have started the process of finding the right bank to loan us the money. This was a church building previously. It will seat 1,000 comfortably, as many as 1,400 squeezed in tightly. That's just the sanctuary. There are also 2 full childrens church facilities, 2 nurseries (Infant and Toddler), a youth room that seats 300-350. Then there's the fact that it comes with 8.53 acres, so we have room to grow! That has been very exciting!

For Ann and I things have been pretty normal. Ann's job has pretty much petered out, so she's home most days. We are saving a good amount of money by her being able to cook every night and have left-overs for lunch. Too bad Gas is nearly $3.00/gal again, and I have a 45 minute drive to and from work every day. Nearly $100/week just on gas... that's a real pain, but God is providing.

I have started another new phase of my job. Not only am I the network administrator, I now have a project to work on for the Government guys... researching a command, control and communications architechture. Ugh. Doesn't get much more boring than that!

My world is pretty much eaten up by work and church now. I have Wednesday night youth band, Thursday night worship band practice, Usually something happening on Saturday with church, of course Sunday morning, then youth band practice on sunday afternoon. For a while i'll be having "special project" meetings every couple of weeks. I need a vacation, and pretty soon, something (probably youth band) will have to go. I can't keep up this pace forever. I've done this to myself before. It rarely keeps working.

Yo ho-ho and a bottle of rum.

Good movie... all I have to say is:

"LOOK! An Undead Monkey!"
