Beginning Anew

Well, I know i'm setting myself up to get major heck for this. Man, i'm not even sure I want to admit this... It's kinda sad. I think i've been hanging around middle schoolers too much, almost!

Ok, here it is...

I'm actually kinda enjoying American Idol this season. There is one real reason I think i'm interested this time...
Yep... Taylor Hicks. Not only is he from Alabama, (that would be Sweet Home Alabama, the name only preceeded in sweetness by the names "Jesus" and my wife's name "Ann")

So, score points for him for being a 'Bama boy, and for doing his own thing. No hair dye, no extra stuff, just a starving musician with a groove. And, hey, I only wish I could cut a rug like that guy. Talk about someone who just wants to sing and be heard. If that man is self-conscious in the slightest, he doesn't show it.

Really, have you seen this guy dance? It's not exactly what i'd call "hip", but just go watch it.. it's addictive. Next time I get pulled out on the dance floor at someone's wedding you can bet i'll be excercizing the "Taylor Hicks" moves. Seriously, just go watch it. Of course, there's always a chance that I would end up looking like this guy. **Disclaimer, possible language violation... not sure if he's saying "busted" or something else**
